Fall and Winter . . . .

All in one weekend! Daddy and I got busy doing some yardwork. I stole his gloves - gotta keep my skin baby soft!

And then on Saturday, we got our first taste of Winter - - snow! It didn't stick to the ground, but it was white and cold still the same! You can see some of the snow flakes on my head - no that's not dandruff!

Just Chillin'
Literally! It has definately turned to Fall here and we had a couple of nice, big rain storms this weekend. So - my outdoor fun was very limited. Instead, we just kinda chilled out around the house.
This is a picture of me with Daddy's GIANT sunflower that he took to school the other day for his students. It was way bigger than me! We're going to plant some of the seeds next spring and see if we can grow some of our own.
This is me just hanging out in my truck. By the way, I'm up to six teeth now and my molars are next so - - - - watch out steak and potatoes!

The Utah State Fair

We went to the fair this weekend with Grandpa and Grandma L. There was lots to see and lots to eat!

I got to go on my first pony ride - a real pony! Look - I'm so good, no hands (or spurs)! Sign me up for the rodeo.

This is a goat. Daddy told me it was safe to touch, but trust me - there are areas I shouldn't have put my finger!

Dad told me this is a sheep. He looked kinda shifty to me. I sure wasn't gonna blink first!

Before we left, mommy took me on another carousel ride. Some people say this is the same as a pony ride, but I don't count it cause you don't have to swat flies while you ride - thus no real talent required.

All in all it was a great day!

Finally . . . . my first trip to the zoo!

This really is a picture of me with my head in a lion's mouth! Daddy found a silver thing in its mouth and when he pushed it, the lion would spit at me. Trust me, I wasn't about to drink any lion's spit!

Here is proof that we were at the zoo. The fun part was actually going inside!

One of the first cool animals I got to see was a white aligator. He was big and had some sharp teeth! Daddy asked if I wanted to pet it, and I acted brave and said No because it had bad breath (not because I was scared it would eat me!)

Then we found the elephants . . . I loved the elephants! I even tried to climb in with them. Mommy said the elephants wouldn't like that but I bet they would have loved to play with me!

Then we went to a bird show. They had some really neat birds - one flew right over me. Its feathers touched my head. This is a bald eagle. I think he is looking at me the same way he looked at the rabbit earlier - and the rabbit disappeared. I bet I would be tastier than a rabbit! This is as close as I want to get for now.

The giraffes were in my list of top five favorite animals. I wanted to climb in with them too. I want to grow up to be as tall as they are.

This is an elephant statue that squirted water out of its nose. But don't worry, I was too fast for it!

We saw some big cats too. There were tigers and a lynx and a couple of leopards - Meeeeooooowwww or is it grrrrooooowwwwwllll?

This is a picture of me petting a snake. It felt really strange - smooth and slickery at the same time. Of special note: daddy is the one helping me . . . not mommy! She would only come close enough to take the picture! Come on - its too small to swallow you!

There were lots of monkeys and apes at the zoo too. They were ok but really kind of boring. My favorites were the elephants, giraffes, and the zebras.

I want to go back to the zoo really soon! By the way, this is a picture of me with my uncle Carl - at least according to mom! Just kidding!

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

What a fun weekend - my aunt Jennifer came to visit me from Southern California. She is a big tease! We had so much fun!

We all went to another Bees baseball game with our neighbors. The Bees lost again, but the food (oh and the game) was great!
That darn Bumble Bee kept following me around again. Aunt Jennifer even got me his autograph. I'm still not too sure about this guy!
This is me and my daddy at the game. What a great way to spend a hot summer night!
This is me cheering for the team - or maybe it was the 4th inning stretch! You can see my friend Bartman in the background. He had fun at the game too.

This is my aunt Jen going down the Zip Line ride. She and mommy went up to Swiss Days and then stopped for some fun up in Park City. They said it was super fun - maybe I'll get to go too in a few years when I'm just a little bit bigger!

Mom says that I'm growing up fast and I guess I am! This week I became a BIG BOY! See - even daddy's shoes fit me now. Granted I can't walk in them yet, but hey, I'm not even walking in my own shoes yet.
I even have my own chair at the counter now. It's much more comfy than my old one. This one even has things to rest my arms on.
I love feeding myself! Here's my Eat-and-Show impression of Dracula. Hey - don't get scared . . . it's only bananas.

I even get to spoon up my own yogurt. And for those critics out there - you can enjoy the flavor best when you're wearing a little of it - ok maybe a lot of it!

Just wanted to leave you with a great picture of me. See mom, I did brush my teeth!

This week is about B's . . . .

So lot's of things that start with the letter B have happened to me this week! On Wednesday I got stung by a bee for the first time. That little guy ended up not being so cute after all - I guess I shouldn't have squeezed him! My finger swelled up really big, but I was tough and after a little screaming, I survived!

Then, speaking of bees . . . daddy, mommy, and some of the neighbors took me to a baseball game - our local minor league team is the Bees. How ironic - what ever that means! Needless to say, after being stung by a little bee, I wasn't so sure that I should make friends with this guy! He was HUGE compared to the one that got me! I don't even want to know how big his stinger is!

And speaking of B's - - - I have a new bucket of balls. They are sooooooo much fun! I love to play with them - throw them, sit in them, crawl over them, throw them some more. You get the idea. There's nothing like a bucket of balls.

Oh how I LOVE food!

I know that I'm a thin little guy and just looking at me, you might not think that I spend much time thinking about food. But you'd be wrong! I love food. Especially my fruits and veggies! I also love Mac & Cheese and ice cream! And most importantly, there's nothing like some sweet corn on the cob!

This is a picture of me with a piece of banana stuck to my face - when you throw a plate of bananas, it's amazing where some of the pieces land! I thought it was pretty funny!

And this is my "I'm dizzy and I don't know where I am" smile! Daddy was spinning the chair around so much I don't even know what nap zone I'm in!

Summer Vacation 07, Part 1

My ride on the Heber Creeper. This is my daddy and me on the train. Hey, will somebody get my cracker that I dropped under here. Ah, just kidding - that silver snake thingy ate it.

The train made a pit-stop at Vivian Park in Provo Canyon where I played in the water, played on the slides, and chewed a couple of rocks (much to mommy and daddy's horror - the rock part). Hee, hee, hee!
Nothing like the sun and wind in your hair. Makes you feel free. I loved the "choo choo" whistle that the train made!

This is me and mom hanging out at the engine. They said I could drive it if I could reach the knob and lever thingys. How cruel it is to be short! Choo, choo - Boo hoo!
SUMMER VACATION 07, Part 1 1/2

I love hiking in the woods. But I wish somebody would move this big head so I could see where in the heck we are going!

Nothing like hanging out with mom, running water, and beautiful flowers. But my mommy is prettier than the flowers! P.S. - - Will somebody make sure my mommy reads this part.

Nothing like lunch on the mountain - animal crackers and cheese! It fills a little guy's tummy!

Wow - I can see forever from this thingy. They called it a granoly . . . or a gondoly . . . or something like that. It sure goes up high.

I didn't want to, but daddy made me kiss a moose. I'm sorry but it kind of looks like someone I know.

SUMMER VACATION 07, Part 2
My FRIENDS even came to meet me on the mountain! We rode some rides! This is my Auntie Lou holding me.

Here is Uncle Randy and the Bart Man after they flew down the hill!
They were a streak of color.

Here comes Auntie Lou!

Here comes Mom! I could hear mom and Auntie Lou screaming from half way down the mountain. I'm not sure who was screaming the loudest. I wanted to go too but they said that at 100 miles per hour, a bumble bee would leave a dent in my forehead the size of MARS. I don't know what "Mars" is but it didn't sound good, so I decided the carousel would have to do.

This is ME of course! The cutest, but don't tell the girls I said that or they might not let me go with them agian.
