Have a Holly, Jolly Mason Christmas!

I'm waiting for Santa. I woke up early (which means everyone in the house had to get up too) just so I could see him and I got stuck here in bed until dad said I could see the sun.

Wow - I guess I was a good boy this year! Personally I was a little worried!

Hurry daddy, hurry! Open that present for me! It has a helicopter just like Uncle Carl's. Hey, does Uncle Carl have long blond hair - my pilot does.

Hi Ho Silver and Away! Look - I'm so good I can ride a horse with one hand and a vanilla wafer in the other.

Yaaaa Hoooo! Copper doesn't neigh or have a saddle, but he sure is fun to ride too! Not many people at my age can say they have ridden bare back!
Cars, cars, and more cars! Gotta love cars - - vroom! Plus mommy made a car city mat for me to play with my cars on. This must be car heaven!

This is my brand new sled. We got 4 inches of new snow last night. I've got my hat and mittens and I'm ready to sled. Guess what? This is as far as I got! Boy are my parents lame! They said they needed a nap! Naps are for wimps!

I can't go sledding so I'm going to hang out with my new puppy (he's three times bigger than me - but boy is he soft!)

Ahhhh, all this playing makes a little man thirsty! Nothing like having a juice break with two hundred and two balls!
No I'm not napping in this picture - I'm just teaching my new puppy how to nap cause he's little.
Yaaaawwwwwnnnn - - - - Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
P.S. I'm not really sure what a New Year is, but if it means more presents, I'm all for it!

Tis The Season . . . .

Nothing like a moose and a candy cane! Both are cool!

This is the kind of homecoming you get when you are covered in candy cane sticky!

Mommy read me a story about a tiger chasing its tail. I've almost been around this tree once and I still haven't seen a tiger or its tail.

On Donner, on Blitzen, on... ok just daddy. Mom says he's a good mule! I thought he was supposed to be a reindeer but daddy can pull our sled anytime!

P.S. He can't fly!

A guy in a red suit!
Mommy and daddy took me to see Santa at Cabelas. Personally, I was more interested in seeing all the animals they had there! The parents said they were proud of me for not taking candy from a stranger - I don't know this Santa guy very well yet. They also said they were proud of me because I didn't cry when I sat on Santa's lap. Why would I cry . . . all those animals were around to protect me!

Ya who . . . another weekend with SNOW!

I love this stuff! They say if I catch a snowflake in my mouth I get to make a wish. Come on little guys - help me out, I want to stay out and play!

Come on guys . . . it's snowing. I've got my hat and mittens - please let me go back out and play. I won't get cold, I promise! Why didn't I catch a snowflake in my mouth?
Finally . . . outside to play. Another 9 inches of snow this weekend and with an inseam of 5 inches, I find that it's easier to follow someone else's tracks.
Everybody says sledding is fun . . . but my bum is getting kind of cold! Either there's a better way to do this or I'm missing something.
I told my dad I wanted to be a snowflake and my dad said he would teach me how. I still think my coat is the wrong color but boy . . . being a snowflake is fun!
Look, my first snowball. Where's mom? I bet she's wouldn't throw a snowball at "her little baby"!

A day of firsts! My first snowman! Ok, ok . . . looks more like a snow troll. But hey, I'll bet your first try at a year and a half old didn't look much better. COPPER, not on my snow troll!

Now that's what I call a snow storm!

Boy did it snow on Saturday! This is me and daddy out in the yard. We had 9 inches - I think that's a lot! It came up to my belly button!

We hung out in the house most of the weekend to keep warm since it was so cold outside. Mommy has nicknamed me - Mr. Independent! She found me hanging out in my bean bag watching a Baby Einstein video.
Then daddy found me in my room just reading my books. I love a good book!

This is me and my mommy playing the piano. I'm getting really good - who said your feet have to touch the pedals?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Just a shout out to everyone to have a Happy Turkey Day! We just finished eating - so much food! Of course, I pretty much concentrated on the corn - it's my favorite! Who needs turkey, sweet potatoes, and stuffing?

By the way, in case you're wondering what this picture is about - this is me and daddy and my big brother, Copper, sharing some pre-turkey snacks.

This is me practicing how to hold and put my teddy to sleep. Who knew that this practice will come in handy in about 5 months.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

A relaxing weekend . . . NOT!

First, my parents put me to work mowing the lawn. And when the mower is as big as this one, trust me - it's at lot of work!

Then, they told me I had to get all of the rocks out of the garden. At least I got to sit down for this job.

Huh - What do you mean I have to wash all of the dirt off the dog? I'm not the one who told him it was ok to roll in the dirt!

I've washed and I've washed, but these dog-gone mud spots won't come off. Boy I'm getting tired!

It's time I pick my own job - and I think that's gonna be a nap! No discussion!

P.S. Don't tell the parents!

A Working Weekend . . . . .

As with every weekend in the fall, we spent our time out with the leaves! There are soooo many leaves . . . they just keeping falling and falling. But they sure are fun to play in!
Mom and dad just kept making pile after pile of leaves. And Copper and I just kept playing in them.
This is me taking a break - playing in the leaves is HARD work!
In fact, I was so worn out from the leaves, this is how I feel asleep!
Ahhhh, Fall!

Fall Vacation

This is what a vacation is supposed to be about - - - relaxing! This is me and my dad just hanging out and relaxing on vacation last week. We had a great time!

We stopped to visit my Great Auntie Mary Isabell and cousin Joslyn. My cousin Barton came to say Hi too. This is just me and the girls!

I was soooo excited to see the horses at Aunt Mary Bell's farm! The only problem was they were super big up close. They have HUGE teeth! Boy, I bet they needed a lot of baby Tylenol when they were my age and teething!

This is the family up in Teton National Park. It's one of our most favorite places!

We went to the city park in Jackson and feed the geese (they're from Canada - where ever that is). They were very friendly! They made funny noises though - they honked like a car!

We made a final stop in Woodruff on the way home. It was sure windy there - Daddy says it's always windy there. This is my Great Grandma L's grave - we share a common name. Pretty cool!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Sorry I've been so slow in posting this week. We've been on vacation - more about that another day when I have time to post some pictures . . .
Today is Halloween - my second one! Daddy and I carved my pumpkin today. I got to clean out all of the "pumpkin guts". It was gooey and fun! We made a scary jack-o-lantern!
Daddy finally let me do some carving - something about sharp knives and all. My saw seemed to work just fine! Note my secret ingredient to make a super gooey pumpkin - eggs! Bet you never thought of that!
Then we went Trick-Or-Treating. We all went as Dalmations. Count the Dalmations . . . . daddy is one, Copper is two, I am three, and my spotty dog stuffed animal is four. Have you ever seen so many Dalmations in one place?
Happy Halloween!

Lots of Visitors!

I had lots of visitors this weekend. First - some snow came to visit! We've had lots of bad weather the last few Saturdays but today we had snow and it stuck to the ground. You can still see the leaves on some of our trees. Daddy says the snow will be melted by this afternoon - hum, snow and sunshine. How cool!

Then some of my family came to visit. Some of them I have never met before. My Grandpa and Grandma G, My Great-Grandma G, and my Aunt Betty Ann and Uncle Keith. It was fun to have them visit.

This is me and my Great Grandma. Mommy says that I only have one great-grandparent left, but I think they're all GREAT!

Sure signs of Fall!
Pumpkins - so many pumpkins!
Who knew balls grew in a field - this is a picture of me showing daddy which orange ball I want.
Mommy said this is a scarecrow and they're supposed to scare away crows. I don't know what crows are, but I sure don't trust this guy!
Leaves - so very many leaves!
I love playing in a pile of leaves. Who knew dried leaves tasted so good - looks like I've got a year's supply here! Shhhhh . . . don't tell mom. She makes me spit them out - she says they're yucky. She must have gotten a bad one.

A little under the weather . . . .

On Friday, I had my 15 month check up. I'm still a light weight - I finally broke the 20 lb mark, but I am taller than average. Tall and thin - I wonder where I get that from? The down side of seeing the doctor was the 4 (four, quatro, 4 - yes 4!) shots I had to get! It was very unpleasant to say the least. But I was brave and let them do it!. One more flu shot next month and then no shots for 9 more months. Yeah!!! They say you feel the worst the day after - and they are right! This is a picture of me this morning, snuggled up under a nice warm blanket, ready to doze off.

The weather outside still thinks it's winter. It is cold and dreary! We had a big hailstorm this afternoon - it looks like snow, but it's really a big pile of hail. Daddy took me outside in it and I wasn't very happy about it! Those little balls of ice can give a guy a big bonk on the head! At least we turned the heater on so it's nice and toasty warm inside!
