Well Fall was nice . . . and super short this year. We went from this - -
Leaves, leaves, and lots of leaves . . . .
To this - snow, snow, and lots of snow - in one day. Over the course of the weekend we had about 8 inches of snow at our house.
And it was that heavy wet kind of snow. Perfect for snow angels.
And for making snowmen.
Here's Sam's finished snowman - complete with grape eyes, a carrot noes, and leaf buttons.
And here's my snowman. A slightly shorter version than Sam's but cool none-the-less.
A snowball fight followed the building of the snowmen. Good times (except when you get hit in the face with a huge snowball!)
Sam Alert: Howdy - enjoy a few more pictures of me out playing in the snow. I would like it noted for the record that somehow we didn't manage to go sledding this weekend despite my non-stop requests for this activity! But I greatly enjoyed the snowman building . . . .
. . . . and the snow angels. I liked the concept of a snowball fight but did we mention that a big snowball right in the face isn't very fun?
